FIELD: well drilling equipment, particularly, hydraulic bottom-like devices for sinking of wells of various applications. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic hammer has a body separated by partition with channels, spring-loaded hollow hammer with thrust ring and circular protrusion, spring-loaded valve on rod with thrust washer. Hydraulic hammer has guide bushing, adjusting washer and spring. Guide bushing is connected with hammer lower part for possible telescopic engagement. Circular protrusion is made in upper part of outer surface of hammer. Adjusting washer is located on hammer between thrust ring and hammer spring. Valve spring is located on rod between body partition and valve. Hammer is spring-loaded relative to guide bushing. Hammer lower surface has a fastening thread. Outer surface of hammer, between circular protrusion and thrust ring is faceted for telescopic engagement with body. Thrust washer is connected with rod upper part for longitudinal motion. EFFECT: improved operating conditions due to provision of regulation of working characteristics of hydraulic hammer by varying axial load. 1 dwg
