FIELD: pipe line fittings. SUBSTANCE: valve has housing with medium supply and discharge branch pipes and cover connected with housing. Housing and cover are provided with coaxial chambers of equal diameter which receive shut-off member connected with drive and made in form of cylindrical bush. End of bush located in housing is provided with bypass ports and end located in cover is provided with tail-piece. Drive is made in form of two engageable gear racks, one of racks is located on tail-piece of shut-off member and other rack is located on drive rod. Ends of rod are of equal diameter and are provided with seals. When valve is manufactured in "Shut-off adjusting member" version, it is provided additionally with one sealing ring located above bypass ports which are made rectangular to ensure linear characteristic of adjustment.
