FIELD: oil industry. SUBSTANCE: layer of adhesive composition is applied on a cleaned surface of the tube. A pair of clutch members is mounted on the tube portion coated with adhesive composition at a distance of 20 mm to the right and to the left from the welded joint rupture. The tubes lengths confined between the welded joint and the clutch members are wound by a string winding up to the upper most point of the welded joint, the winding being impregnated with the same adhesive composition. The surface of the winding and the damaged area of the welded joint are wound in two rows by a tarpaulin band impregnated by the same adhesive composition, the band thickness being equal to the distance between the pair of the clutch member. The marginal surface level of the winding should not exceed the level of the side surface of the circular groove. The circular groove is sealed with iron sticks through a vertical groove. The surface of the sticks is wound up to the outer surface of the clutch member by a string winding impregnated by the adhesive composition. All of the voids present between the sticks and the clutch members should be filled with the adhesive composition. The splice so obtained is wound in two rows by a nonrigid iron or aluminum wire being of 2.5-3 mm in diameter. The wires of the second row should be received by the grooves between the wire of the first row. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 6 dwg
