FIELD: thermal protective devices. SUBSTANCE: thermal relay has an arc-shaped thermosensitive element made of material with a shape memory and fixed on the case, V-shaped contact holder with a spring-loaded lug. One end of the contact holder is secured in the case groove, and the lug is secured in the groove on the opposite side of the case. For short-circuit protection the relay uses a contact plate, and for changing the operate temperature provision is made for an adjusting screw that changes the contact holder elasticity.
