FIELD: thermal protection devices. SUBSTANCE: thermal relay uses thermosensitive element 6, contact block 5, contact holder 3 with spring-loaded lug 4 resting on groove 7 in contact block 5, fixed contact 2, adjusting screw 14 and casing 1. The curved thermosensitive element is made of material with a thermomechanical shape memory, with its one end it is secured in casing 1, and with the other one it rests on contact holder 3 for taking the rectilinear shape at heating, small wedge 10 is inserted between adjusting screw 14 and contact plate 8. A through hole is made in small wedge 10 to pass thermosensitive element 6. EFFECT: simplified design and enhanced reliability of thermal relay. 3 cl, 4 dwg
