FIELD: plastic processing. SUBSTANCE: joint of the cutting tip made of tungstenless alloy with metal bonding with the tool steel body, with the use of a molten bonding interlayer. In this case a powder alloy, whose composition base is identical to the base of the carbide alloy metal bonding, is used as the bonding interlayer, and the heating temperature is taken to be equal to 0.95-1.0 of the value of the lowest temperature of forming of the liquid-phase interlayer in the zone of contact of carbide granules of the carbide alloy with the metal bonding. Positive effect: no failure of the tool cutting tip, the tool service life is 1000 hours. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and durability of tool. 1 tbl
