FIELD: engineering, in particular cutting tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite material useful in boring technique, for cutting tools applied in accident recovery work, oil- and gaswell (e.g. cutter, reamer, etc.). Claimed composite contains (vol.%) hard alloy particles having size of 0.5-5 mm 50-80, binder 18-99, and flux 1-2. Binder is an austenitic stainless steel comprising nickel 9 % and chromium 18 %. Flux contains (vol.%) boric acid 65-75, organic component 15-20, aluminum powder 10-15. As organic component wax, paraffin or polyethylene are used.
EFFECT: instrument with increased durability, cutting velocity and effectiveness.
