FIELD: printing arts. SUBSTANCE: method consists in producing effect of photogravure (dark line against light background). Linocut (or wood cut) is formed by photogravure method, final carrier (paper) is dyed with chemically active inks and contacts the surface of printing plate which is preliminary wetted with some etching compound (e. g. , Texanite, bleaching liquors, acids). EFFECT: widened imitative possibilities of linocut.
