FIELD: transshipment operations. SUBSTANCE: lateral clamping device has plate suspended to cargo lifting carriage and carrying lateral clamps rotatable relative to vertical axes. Cargo loader carries articulated spring-loaded brake beams and supports. The plate is provided with arresters of turn of clamps which are relatively spring-loaded and engageable with cable block drive. Ends of drive cable are fastened on movable brackets which are engageable with supports with the aid of slings and are provided with shoes engageable with guides. Guides are positioned on beams and are provided with stops engageable with body of loader with auxiliary cable block system. EFFECT: enhanced operating capability. 3 dwg
