BITUMEN COMPOSITION, AND A METHOD OF ITS PREPARING Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: building materials. SUBSTANCE: composition has components at the following ratio, wt. -% : bitumen 70-79; butadiene-styrene thermoelastic plastic or rubber crumb - a mixture in butadiene-styrene latex and synthetic rubber production waste 9.5-15; low-molecular copolymer of butadiene with piperylene or with acrylonitrile 1-3; plasticizer 8-10; stearic acid 0.5-1.0, and surface-active substance 1.5-3.0. Composition is prepared by mixing of components by two stages. At the first stage part of bitumen and all other components are mixed. Prepared mixture is a concentrate, which is added in unheated form at the second stage to the preliminary heated residue of bitumen at the constant stirring up to homogeneous mass preparing. Ratio of bitumen part added at the first and the second stage is 1: (1.41-2.95). Composition can be used for hydroinsulation and sealing. EFFECT: enhanced quality of bitumen composition. 3 cl, 2 tbl
