FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: bearing unit has cylindrical rollers with axles arranged in seats of cage made in form of split ring. Rollers are installed on shaft journal in bearing unit housing. Bearing outer race is made in form of spiral cylindrical spring with rectangular cross-section of coils. Bearing unit has ring spacer with conical section at face. Spacer is made up of two half-rings connected by pins and is installed between shoulder and spring flat end. Bearing seat is non-split in plane square to axis of shaft journal. Cage is corrugated, with corrugations uniformly spaced over circumference. Seats for roller axles are made in recesses open towards outer race. Cage is installed for engagement of ridges of outer corrugations with outer race path. Made on ridges of inner corrugations are mating projections distributed over cage circumference. Ring adjacent to conical section. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 6 cl, 7 dwg
