FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: pressed air is fed to exhaust port of air-operated wave transducer, and extending toroidal gas cavity is formed at the depth of source submergence. In this case the difference of speeds of gas efflux is generated in the lower and upper edges of exhaust port. This difference provides vortex rotation of the gas about axis of toroidal gas cavity and of layer of water medium connected to the cavity, which has thickness no more than 5 cm. Operation chamber of the source is made in form of a torus and is connected with channel for emanating air in such a manner, that it forms scroll-shaped structure which has diameter to be reduced monotonously in the direction of exhaust port. Control system has electromagnet coil connected with current source, the coil is mounted in the upper part of the casing made of ferrous material. Movable member of the system made of ferrous material either is mounted in alignment with the coil. Center of magnetic mass of the coil is shifted relatively poles of the coil.
