FIELD: medicine; intrauterine contraceptive device. SUBSTANCE: device has triangular-shaped legs, the size of arm 1 at one end being greater than size of arm 2 at the other end; rings 3 formed at the ends of springs. Outer contour of the flat figure composed of spring legs has a shape of uterus, that is a triangular shape. The device furthermore has monolithic nylon thread 4 for removing the device from the uterus cavity ( if necessary ). The springs are made of a biologically inert material, e. g. of polyethylene. Triangular shape of the device, force of the springs, rings 3 diameter of which is greater than a diameter of the uterus neck prevent the device from falling out from the uterus. Cross-section profile of rod which the springs and rings are made of can be of any shape ( round, flat, etc. ). Its thickness can be arbitrary as well, for example, 0.1-1 mm. The device can have different configurations, for example in the form of a "spider", "fir-tree", "snake", "garland". EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, convenience and reduced traumatism. 2 cl, 4 dwg
