APPARATUS FOR MAGNETOHEMOTHERAPY Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2012383 C1

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a blood flowing duct, arranged in a working magnetic gap; two magnetic members, one of which is provided by three protrusions, directed to a side of the blood flowing duct, and the other is in the form of a plate. A width of terminal protrusions consists 0,4-0,6 of a width of a mean protrusion, a distance between the protrusions consists 0,75-1,5 of the width of the mean protrusion and a distance between the protrusions and the second magnetic member consists 0,25-0,5 of the same width value. A direction of magnetic flux density vector of the mean protrusion is opposite to direction of magnetic flux density of the terminal protrusions. Upon isolated magneto hemotherapy before a seance beginning 5-10 thousands of heparin units are being introduced in blood by one procedure. Then a portion of single-use blood flowing system, having length 25-30 cm, is being joined with an artery vein shunt or with a catheterized veins ( one of these veins is a main one ), and it is being fixed in the working gap of the apparatus. Blood flow, being provided with the aid of a roller pump, ha a rate up to 100 ml/min or the blood flow is provided by a difference of arterial pressure ( by gravity ). At performing the procedure simultaneously with detoxication ( hemosorption, hemodialysis ) the apparatus is being placed at an input of a detoxicating system or at output of the same. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of correction of parameters of homeostasis and accelerated blood detoxication. 8 cl, 1 dwg
