FIELD: decorative finishing wood, metal, ceramics, cardboard, glass and other surfaces. SUBSTANCE: method involves copolymerization of methyl(butyl)- methacrylate with methylacrylate and (meth)acrylic acid in the medium of organic solvent. The process takes place in the presence of dinitryle-2-azo-bis-isobutyric acid as initiator of polymerization, it is followed by adding color, its quantity being 0.2% of composition mass. Mixture of ethylacetate, ethyl alcohol and acetone at mass ratio 40: 50: 10 respectively or mixture of petroleum aromatic solvent and ethyl acetate at mass ratio 3: 1 or mixture of xylene and ethylacetate at mass ratio 1: 1 is used as mentioned above organic solvent. Disperse yellow polyether base color, or disperse red polyether color or oil- soluble bright blue antraquinone color or their mixture is used as mentioned above color. Expense of composition is 70-78 g/m² to produce intensive dyeing. EFFECT: increases composition's resistance to light.
