FIELD: paint and varnish industry. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes enamel that can be used in industry, building, in homes, for protective decorative painting ground coat of metallic article surfaces and constructions including wood, concrete and ferroconcrete ones exploited under atmospheric conditions at temperature from -40 C to +60 C, among them in regions where chemical corrosive gas content is increased. Invention describes weatherproofing enamel consisting of perchlorovinyl resin PSKH-LS, plasticizer, pigments, filling agents, disperser and organic solvents. Enamel has copolymer BMS-86 of butylmethacrylate, methylmethacrylate and methacrylic acid as an additional film-forming substance at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: perchlorovinyl resin PSKH-LS 9.0-11.0; copolymer BMS-86 of butylmethacrylate, methylmethacrylate and methacrylic acid 4.5-6.5; plasticizer 3.0-5.2; disperser 0.1-0.2; pigments as filling agents 8.0-19.0 and organic solvents - the rest. EFFECT: development of novel perchlorovinyl enamel, improved exploitation indices with respect to storage, enhanced adhesion, hardness, light-resistance, heat-stability of cover in combination with improved decorative properties of cover: enhanced luster, decreased dirt adsorption and odor, improved smoothness of surface. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
