FIELD: reflected light microscopes. SUBSTANCE: objective lens has five components: single meniscus, turned with its concavity to the object; two components, glued from negative and positive lenses; component glued from biconcave and biconvex lenses, total width of the component along the axis is equal to size of air space between this component and preceding one-it is equal 6-8 focal lengths of the objective lens. Refractivities and dispersions of optic materials of single meniscus and negative lenses of the second and thee fourth components are equal and chosen from the relations 50<ν<55.
