FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: extension cord has body with sockets for plugs to which power is supplied from room socket over wire with plug on free end. Body is manufactured in the form of hollow coil, sockets to accommodate plugs are located in detachable head. The latter is fabricated in the form of flat disc having shape of polyhedron in plan on which sides inlet holes of sockets are located. Coil has longitudinal slots parallel to its axis.
