FIELD: illumination engineering. SUBSTANCE: luminaire has a filament lamp with lamp-holder secured to the wall with a cantilever in the plane of a diffuser and provided with flexible wire, intermediate suspension switch, and plug positioned at the free end of the flexible wire. L-shaped piping cantilever is freely mounted in openings of the top and bottom walls of a box hollow housing. A step-down transformer is arranged inside the space of the housing. The secondary winding of the transformer is connected to miniature low-power filament lamp of low voltage positioned at the opening made in the wall of the box housing. A push-button switch positioned in the other opening of the same wall is connected in the circuit of the first winding of the step-down transformer. The main filament lamp is provided with an additional (push-button) switch. Planks having L-shaped openings are mounted at the top and bottom of the back side of the box housing. The diffuser is constructed as a hollow thin-walled cylinder without top and bottom bases, made of semitransparent material, and suspended on lateral thin rods which are screwed in the side threaded openings made in the ring freely mounted above the holder. There are heads of grate diameter at the free ends of the rods. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 3 dwg
