FIELD: manufacture of pipes. SUBSTANCE: in application of solid lubricant to rollers working fluid under pressure P₁ is fed into space between cap of cylinder and end face of briquette 1. Briquette moves inside body 2 and is pressed against groove of roller. To radial clearance between outer surface of briquette and inner surface of body working fluid is fed to cool roller. To cut off feeding of lubricant to rollers into radial space between side surface of body 2 and inner side surface of cylinder 5 working fluid is fed under pressure of P₂>P₁. Pistons-catches 4 fix briquette 1. Due to difference in pressure ΔP=P₂-P₁ briquette 1 together with body 2 comes up along axle and is disengaged from groove of roller. Cooling rollers with working fluid is continued. EFFECT: enhanced handling convenience. 1 dwg
