FIELD: production of rolled product. SUBSTANCE: device has housing containing a stick of grease lubricant and provided with cover at one side and cooled liquid supplying system for supplying cooled liquid under pressure into space between cover and stick of grease lubricant. Device is further provided with plate gauged in conformance with cylindrical housing inner diameter. Plate is positioned between cover and grease lubricant stick end and connected with cover by flexible binder, which limits displacement of plate to roll, when grease lubricant stick is worn to maximum extent. Shaped walls of cylindrical housing are made with openings, where screws are located so that their surface is disposed tangentially with respect to horizontal plane extending through flanges of roll. Screws are protruding above cylindrical surface for a value exceeding allowance for gauged "plate-cylinder" pair. EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation of device, reduced wear of pass, reduced specific consumption of grease lubricant applied to surface of roll grooved pass. 2 cl, 4 dwg, 1 tbl
