FIELD: machining operations. SUBSTANCE: device has body with outer thread and collet, threading die holder with handle and collet control mechanism. Collet control mechanism is in the form of threaded rod with conical head engaging with reciprocal conical surface of collet head. Lobes of collet have outer conical surface. Movement of rod along thread in body results in unclasping jaws of collet. Jaws are unclasped as a result of action of conical head of rod on reciprocating surface of collet head.
