FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: device is used for cutting of external thread on pipes. Collet fixing element is made as axle with truncated cone for interaction with collet lugs and square tail-piece by widened part at one end and with thread at the other end. In addition, collet is provided with facet at point of transition from lugs to thread, and at lower end it has hollow for fastening nut.
