FIELD: manufacture of briquettes. SUBSTANCE: press has rotor having several sections carrying tool assemblies. Assemblies have female die, plunger connected to male die by rod, plunger movement cam drive. Female die houses rigidly installed bushing, male die and plunger are located on its both sides and are spring-loaded relative to it. Male die is in the form of barrel housing end of rod. Cap of barrel is perforated and end of rod has pins coaxial with holes of cap. Z-shaped bushing is secured by threaded joint, springs of male die and plungers bearing against bushing are positioned coaxially. Plunger is hollow and female die has stepped channels. Sections of rotor have circular flanges tightened among themselves by coupling bolts. Cams of drive of forward motion of plunger of adjacent sections are mounted on common axle with relative angular displacement. EFFECT: enhanced operating capability. 6 cl, 5 dwg
