FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: in response to a loss of grip between wheels and rails currents passing through traction motors coupled with wheel pairs start to drop. Most of the power applied to motors is consumed for increasing the speed of slipping in wheel pairs. In this case the sign of derived signal at the output of first differentiator is positive, and at the input it is negative, which entails appearance of positive signal at the output of AND-gate. As a result, the growth in power applied to traction motor stops, and slippage of wheel pairs terminates. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency in operation. 1 dwg
