FIELD: automotive engineering. SUBSTANCE: auxiliary brake of vehicle has brake shoe installed after rear axle and connected by levers and clamps to the rear axle. Middle part of the levers is connected to rod of working cylinder having a spring-loaded piston. The brake shoe is fashioned as a wheel with replaceable rim provided with brake disks and annular cylinders with heads receiving annular pistons. The wheel rims have spherical projections engaging with road surface. Axle of the wheel is linked with levers through head shanks. The auxiliary brake comprises shoe 1 with brake connected to lever 2 having clamps 3 and working cylinder 4 connected to piston 6 by rod 5. Shoe 1 includes casing 7 with hub of rim axis 9 with spherical projections 11 affixed to the casing 7, mudguard disks 12, and brake in the form of two brake disks with annular cylinders, two heads 15 with annular pistons and pressure passages 17, and shanks 18 secured to heads 15. Lever 2 coupled to shanks 18 by bolts has lug 20 pivotally connected to head 21 of rod 5. Ends of lever 2 are pivotally connected to clamps 3. Levers 2 are coupled to rear axle by clamps 3.
