FIELD: purification of sewage. SUBSTANCE: sewage is fed into electrochemical reactor. Rhodanides are oxidized on anode in acid medium to produce prussic acid. Said acid is then neutralized by solution of alkali or alkali-earth hydroxides. Sewage is fed into cathode space and is separated of anolyte with the help of anion-exchange membrane. Prussic acid is blown of anolyte with the help of air. EFFECT: improves efficiency of the method.
