FIELD: hydraulic metallurgy, may be used for disoxidation of gold-bearing cyanide solutions and extraction of gold and silver from alkali-cyanide solutions and eluates. SUBSTANCE: electrolyzer has cathodic chambers connected in series and provided with plated cathodes and anodic chambers separated from cathodes by ion-exchange membranes. Anodic chambers are positioned perpendicular to cathodes and cathodes are located between vertical transverse walls provided with openings. Walls are arranged in pairs with slits between them. One wall of a pair of walls has opening in its lower part and other wall has opening in its upper part. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
