FIELD: automotive engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotary internal combustion engine has rotor with piston in the form of a plate and shaped working chamber. The rotor has motion sections and one compression chamber with receiver whose outlet passage terminates in the cylindrical portion of inner recess of the casing. The plate-shaped pistons are turned 180° relative to each other. Each motion section has elongated combustion pre-chamber with spray nozzle to inject fuel, and ignition sparks. Inlet passage of the pre-chamber is periodically communicated with corresponding outlet passages of the receiver. End parts of the pistons have longitudinal recesses in the form of parallelepiped and cylinder which communicate with each other and accommodate stacks of sealing elements and sickle-shaped springs for turning and engaging by convex side with the stacks of sealing elements. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency in operation. 2 cl, 5 dwg
