FIELD: automotive engineering. SUBSTANCE: connection of piston with rocker member has insert 11 pivotally connected to rocker. The insert has jaws 9 with projections 10 and three parallel bearing surfaces at ends. Outer end of head 5 engages with bearing surface of insert 11 through a set of plates 18 with cylindrical ends. Two other bearing surfaces of head 5 engage with bearing surfaces of projections 10 of jaws 9 through short cylindrical rollers. EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability. 1 dwg
