FIELD: automotive engineering, particularly engine construction. SUBSTANCE: arrangement has diffuser 1 secured in main flow-through channel of carburetor, passage 2 for feeding mixture to axial hole 3 of the diffuser communicating with annular slot 4, and circular element (cowl) 6 positioned in the zone of slot 4. Slot 4 is provided in the body of diffuser 1. Circular element 6 is spaced from top part of hole 3 to form an annular mixing passage 8 with curvilinear walls. Outlet part of passage 8 is directed at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the hole in diffuser 1. The area of outlet section of element 6 is greater than its inlet section. Axial hole of element 6 has a variable cross section. The minimum diameter D of hole 3 in diffuser 1 is greater than the minimum diameter d of hole in element 6. Element 6 is secured in diffuser 1 by rods 7. Each such rod is affixed by one end to diffuser 1 and by the other end to element 6. EFFECT: enhanced fuel spraying efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
