FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: compressor is of isochoric-polytrope type; cylinders are provided with system for heating and cooling the working medium with outside air flow; the construction of the drive provides for motionless state of the piston after suction stroke during isochoric process of compression through heating the working medium followed by motion of the piston for performing the polytrope compression, discharge and subsequent suction processes. Device provides for isochoric heating of refrigerant by the heat taken from the surrounding medium and reduction of labour consumption for final compression of gas to maximum pressure in the cycle. Process of heating the working medium at Vref-const makes it possible to use thermal pump and low-temperature thermal engine. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
