FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to heat-power engineering. Gas working medium (for example, air) at initial pressure of 2-5 atmospheres is compressed in polytropic process by 3-10 times, in this process, gas is heated by 70-170 K. Compressed working medium pumped into receiver to specified pressure wherefrom it is supplied in batches to thermal exchange tank where it is heated in isochoric process to 800-1100 K, then it is directed in batches to accumulator tank. When pressure in accumulator tank reaches specified value working medium is directed to kinematic energy converter (for instance, turbine) for transformation into alternative kinds of energy where it does useful work while adiabatically expanding. Part of obtained energy is used for compressor operation. Exhausted gas working medium is directed for heating (cooling using absorption refrigerating plants) and subsequent return to cycle or if it is air - for heating or flammable fuel-air mixture preparation.
EFFECT: conversion of heat energy of sufficient intensity into other kinds of energy, for instance electric energy.
