FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: method lies in radiation of coded signals of transmitters of objects, in their reception in N points spatially separated, where N is greater than 3, with their subsequent radio relaying to central point and in measurement of mutual delays on basis of mutual spectrum of signals. Radio relaying of signals from three points is performed simultaneously. For this purpose radio relaying conditions are controlled and signals are emitted by transmitters periodically. Measurement and calibration of reception during established time intervals is conducted of only one signal at three nearest points. Objects are identified on basis of demodulation of signals. Coordinates are computed by mutual delays corrected by calibration factors. EFFECT: improved reliability of determination of coordinates of mobile objects. 6 cl, 11 dwg, 1 tbl
