SUBSTANCE: novel method prescribes separating musculus intermedius femoris and its tendon from musculus rectus femoris throughout its entire length, cutting off tendon of musculus intermedius femoris where it is attached to knee pan, shaping graft from cicatricial tissue and cicatricially changed musculus intermedius femoris to overlap postosteomyelitic osteal cavities of femoral bone and then positioning resolving bioinert alginate-collagen film on this graft. EFFECT: lower rate of traumatism and prevention of pyo-inflammatory complications.
