FIELD: traumatology and orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: when performing mobilizing operation, biopsy sections are taken from femur tetraceps. Relative area occupied by intermuscular connection tissue on 1 sq.mm of preparation area is calculated and presence or absence of features indicative of muscular fibers' regeneration is stated. If muscular fibers' regeneration is manifested and relative area of intermuscular connection tissue is increased not more than by 40%, scary and dystrophic alterations in muscle are regarded as not markedly expressed. In case of lack of muscular regeneration features and when relative area of intermuscular connection tissue is increased by more than 40%, severe scary and dystrophic focal necrotic alterations in femur tetraceps are stated. EFFECT: increased diagnostics accuracy in early disease phases. 3 ex
