FIELD: mine engineering. SUBSTANCE: mill has vertical case 1, a separator concentrically mounted on shaft 2 inside the case with clearance 8 and made in the form of conical bush 6 with ribs 7 located between upper and lower disks 3 and 4 respectively with end cams 5. Bush 6 and upper disk 3 are mounted on journal 10 of shaft 2 for relative rotation. Journal 10 may be made coaxial to shaft 2. The axle of journal 10 may be also made at an angle α to the axis of shaft 2. Angle a is larger than zero but less or equal to arctg (d/D) where d is the ball diameter; D is the minimum diameter of the working surface of the end cam. Clearance 8 between case 1 and separator bush 6 is larger than 3 and less than 3.45 of the ball diameter. EFFECT: improved reliability and efficiency. 3 cl, 1 dwg
