FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has a source of stabilized constant voltage, automatic switches, calibrated resistor, thermoelectric converters, the first differential amplifier, wide-band amplifier, the second differential amplifier, phase-sensitive rectifier, low-pass filter, digital voltmeter, the third differential amplifier, voltage divider, low-pass filter, the second voltage divider and multivibrator. The working junctions of the thermoelectric converter are brought into a thermal contact with each other. After the junction of one of the thermoelectric converters is heated the thermoelectromotive force of another converter is measured. The current direction is changed. The junctions of the thermoelectric converters are cooled. The second meaning of the thermoelectromotive force is measured. Their difference is determined. This result is changed by the figure proportional to the difference of the temperature of the medium under investigation and the temperature at which the calibration was carried out. The obtained voltage is compared to a part of the voltage drop resulting from the current flowing through the junction of one of the thermoelectric converters onto the calibrated resistor. The deviation of humidity from the norm is judged by the differential meaning of the compared voltages. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of controlling the humidity content. 1 dwg
