FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: two-motor electric drive includes two three-phase motors identical by parameters with squirrel-cage rotors and rigid mechanical coupling of their shafts to drive mechanisms, first and second three-phase switches connecting leads of stator windings of correspondingly first and second asynchronous motor to terminals-phases of power supply network, third three-phase switch coupled to other leads of stator windings of motors. Salient feature of two-motor electric drive lies in that switches are manufactured in the form of three-phase triac voltage regulators with three input and three output terminals each and in that control system of drive has common slide control, three individual units of phase-pulse control over triac switches, two pickups of active power with D.C. output connected with input resistively uncoupled circuits to first stator windings of asynchronous motors, three summing elements, intermediate amplifier and source of matching bias voltage. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency. 4 dwg
