FIELD: drive of various mechanisms fed from single-phase power mains. SUBSTANCE: single-phase rectifier drive with a DC motor of separate excitation uses a transformer, non-controlled diode bridge, whose DC diagonally opposite pair of terminals is connected to the excitation winding, thyristor rectifier, phase-pulse control unit. Use is made of an additional transformer winding, whose end combined with the beginning of the transformer primary winding is connected to the second terminal of the power mains, and the beginning - to the leadout of the AC input circuit of the thyristor rectifier.
