FIELD: manufacture of bactericide laying materials. SUBSTANCE: bactericidal material is chemically modified flaxen rayon fabric contains 3-15 % by weight of iodopyrone prepared from mixture consisting of iodine complex with polyvinylpyrrolidone, molecular weight of 20000-30000, and potassium iodide. The bactericidal material is manufactured by dipping a linen into 5-25 % solution of iodopyrone at bath ratio of 1:40-50 for 5-10 min at a temperature of 20-60 C followed by centrifugation the treated material to dryness of 60-70 %. The centrifuged material is then dried at 80-100 C to moisture content of 3-5 %. EFFECT: increased antimicrobial activity. 1 tbl
