FIELD: chemistry; textile.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in textile industry to produce materials with antimicrobial properties, which retain their properties during operation. To obtain antimicrobial textile material with bimetallic nanoparticles, the material is treated, which is fibrous materials containing functional groups -COOH, or -OH, or -NH2, or -CO-NH-, or -S-S-, in an aqueous solution of a copper salt for 10-15 minutes at temperature of 80-100 °C, then in an aqueous solution of a silver salt for 30-50 minutes at 80-100 °C. Material is extracted, washed, squeezed and dried. After 10-20 minutes of treatment in an aqueous solution of a silver salt, an alkaline agent is added to the solution with constant stirring. Copper salts used are aqueous solutions of copper nitrate or copper sulphate with concentration of 0.0002-0.0006 mol/dm3. Silver salts used are aqueous solutions of silver nitrate or silver sulphate with concentration of 0.0003-0.0012 mol/dm3. Salts with anions of the same type are used. Drying is carried out at temperature of 60-100 °C.

EFFECT: provides for stronger fixation of nanoparticles in structure of fibrous material.
