FIELD: production of cellulose. SUBSTANCE: pulp slurry is diluted to a 8-15 % concentration followed by chemical treatment of the diluted pulp at a temperature of 60-120 C. The chemical pulp is concentrated and ground at an attrition mill at a concentration of 30-40%. As the chemical agents for treatment raw material, there are used sodium sulfite, sodium hydroxide of their mixtures, sodium hydrosulfite or mixture consisting of sodium peroxide and sodium hydroxide.
