FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: device has base, clamping plates for fixing specimen, mounted onto the base, frame, mounted for vertical movement, compacting plate, mounted onto the frame by hinges, horizontal frame, mounted for longitudinal movement, template, which has the same shape as the specimen, mounted onto the horizontal plate, measuring scale, disposed on the direction of movement of horizontal plate and means for regulating force of clamping, provided with a dynamometer. Force regulating means are connected with compacting plate through the dynamometer by flexible link. Device also has additional vertical measuring scale for determining angle of ironing, mounted onto the frame for movement in lateral direction relatively the base. Compacting plate is made to be hollow for circulation and heating of working medium, that results to hot-moisture treatment, when tests are performed. Template is made of heat-insulating material.
