SUBSTANCE: device has base 1, movable and stationary holders, disposed over the base opposite to one another, frame 13,16 with openings 14 for fibers, a mechanism for moving the movable holders, mechanism for loading with carriage and unit for recording displacement value of the movable holders. Tension of threads corresponding to tension on a loom is produced by loading weights-clips 36. Stops 11 of the holders at movement determine a predetermined density of fibers. Flexible draw rod 30 of the loading mechanism with weight 31 is coupled with carriage 27 and kinematically coupled with a recording unit which records a rotation angle of the movable holders upon loading fibers.
