FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method includes excision of skin fragments, their treatment and regrafting after removal of devitalized tissues. What's new in the method is that the operation is carried out in two stages - initial surgery treatment is reduced to excising the scalped fragments, toilet of the wound and hemostasis. The excised grafts are placed into a refrigeration chamber and kept there at a temperature no lower than 0 deg C till a next surgical treatment carried out after the patient's general condition has been stabilized. EFFECT: lower rate of postoperative complications, cut down time and volume of initial surgical treatment.
