FIELD: medicine, reconstructive hand surgery. SUBSTANCE: one-stage transfer of the second foot finger together with metatarsal bone and removal of extensive defects of hand tissues both at frontal and dorsal sides by keeping deep hand structures and minimal foot traumaticity at severe hand traumas accompanied with detachment of the first finger and extensive defect of soft tissues and osseous carcass is achieved by primary and delayed surgical treatment of wound by cutting out nonviable tissues and forming cutaneous- fatty fragment fastened together at the base. Transfer of the second foot finger together with metatarsal bone is conducted upon a stump of the first metacarpal bone followed by osteosynthesis of osseous fragments with subsequent closing defects of soft tissues around metatarsal bone due to the bases of fragments. EFFECT: higher efficiency and accuracy.
