FIELD: chemical industry, production of highly pure 1,2-ethyl dichloride used as solvent with heat regeneration from equimolar quantities of ethylene and chloride in 1,2-ethyl dichloride in the presence of tetrachlorferrate (1-)-catalyst, at a temperature of 75 to 200 C and pressure of 1 to 15 bars. SUBSTANCE: in preactuated mixing zone chloride gas is dissolved in circulating 1,2-ethyl dichloride, in additionally connected reaction zone ethylene gas is transferred to finely dispersed liquid phase with a bubble diameter of 2.0 mm, maximum; this phase passes through the reaction zone at rate of 0.3 to 1 m/s at a reaction time of 2.5 to 25 s calculated for liquid phase, then the formed final product, containing 500 p.p.m. mln-4 of chlorinated byproducts, in a gaseous form is removed by evaporation at a low pressure. The device consists of a mixer with a chlorine intake, "static mixer" with an ethylene intake, rarefaction vessel, circulating pump and heat exchanger; the mixer, "static mixer", pressure release vessel, circulating pump and heat exchanger are interconnected in the direction of flow, the pressure vessel is connected to a condenser through a pressure-differential producer, and a product drain line and exhaust (discharge) line branch out from the condenser. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 4 cl, 1 dwg
