FIELD: production of ionites. SUBSTANCE: condensation of phenol, formaldehyde, hexamethylenetetraamine in sulfuric acid in the presence of ethylene glycol pore generator at 60-75 C, in a phenol to formaldehyde to hexamethylenetetraamine to sulfuric acid to ethylene glycol molar ratio of 1: (0.6-2.0):(0.06-0.24):(0.4-1.9):(2.4-5.7). Ethylene glycol and sulfuric acid are extracted from the cured polycondensate. After boiling down the solution, the latter is recycled to the process. For maldehyde is used as para-formaldehyde or trioxane. EFFECT: improved properties of the ion-exchange sorbent. 3 cl, 1 tbl
