DEVICE FOR ZONAL REINFORCEMENT OF COKE OVEN LINING Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: coke production. SUBSTANCE: reinforcement of coke oven lining, particular, zonal reinforcement with possible separate application of loads on lining in height of coke oven heating wall. Device for zonal reinforcement of coke oven lining has spring unit installed on side part of anchor column and located in separate body whose side surface is provided with protrusion installed for longitudinal motion in recess channel present in each side of anchor column in points of spring unit installation. Length of channel is equal to, or exceeds the value of thermal growth of oven lining. Recess channel is made through in form of springs resting with their one ends on supporting surface of body with stop pin rigidly attached to body along its axis and engageable with oven lining, and with their other ends, it is installed on press flange with built-in nut and adjusting screw thrusting stop located on inner flange of anchor column. EFFECT: improved conditions of zonal reinforcement of coke oven lining that materially promotes preservation of oven lining in heating and operation. 2 cl, 6 dwg
